With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John E. Resor of Olney, Illinois, who passed away on January 10, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Resor and Esther Resor (Wynn); and his sister-in-law Diane Resor. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Resor of Olney; his children, Mike Resor (Julie) of Chilicothe, MO, Greg Resor (Shelby) of Olney, Linda Britton (Phillip) of O'Fallon, IL and David Resor (Kim Keller) of Olney; his grandchildren, Joe Resor, Maggie Resor, Blake Britton (Nellie) and Anne Britton; and his siblings, Mary Hart (Horst), Sam Resor (Christine) and Richard Resor. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
