He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George B. Capps and Anna Bell Short (Arms); his children, Greg Capps (Kellie) of Charleston, IL, Lisa Smashey (Barclay) of Olney, Mark Capps (Tiffany) of Wayne City, IL and Amy Hemrich (Brian); his stepson Robert Harris of Portage, WI; his grandchildren, Adam Smashey (Celeene), Merissa Hickey (Tyler), Tyler Smashey, Isabella Capps, Nakaya Capps, Chevelle Harris, Quinton Hemrich and Madison Hemrich; his great grandchildren, William Lange, Sophie Smashey, Coraline Smashey, Paxton Hundley and Nolan Hickey; and his sister Diane Oster.
