Larry D. Knowlton Obituary
We announce the death of Larry D. Knowlton of Olney, Illinois, who passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 88. Larry will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Knowlton and Ida Knowlton (Greenwold); and his siblings, Delbert, Donald, Gerald "Pete", William Knowlton, Charlotte Walker, Janet Blackwell and Connie Drummer.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Knowlton of Olney; his sons, Lawrence Knowlton (Grace) of Olney and Terrance Knowlton (Debra) of Lake St; his grandchildren, Travis Knowlton (Tori), Daniel Knowlton, Kayla Knowlton, Tara Dimler (Dan), Dalton Foerster, Rusty Foerster and Payden Senecal; his great grandchildren, Jensen Knowlton, Luna and Oliver Foerster; and his siblings, Marlene Sloan, Bev Muzzarelli (Jim), Barbara Heinzeroth, Marilyn Hopps, Kathie Biederstedt and Kevin Knowlton (Lori). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home (205 E Elm St, Olney, IL 62450). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
Interment will follow at Haven Hill Memorial Gardens, Memorials can be made to Elm Street Christian Church in Olney.
