He was predeceased by: his mother Minnie Mae Peavler (Bell); his former wife Martha Peavler (Richardson); his father Dick Peavler; and his daughter Elizabeth Peavler. He is survived by: his wife Vegas; his son Allen Peavler (Lona) of Olney; his grandsons, Michael A. Peavler III (Micah) and Blake A. Peavler (Jillian); his great grandchildren, Peyton, Joseph, Lucas Peavler and Collins Peavler; and his siblings, Steven Peavler, Donna Hahs, Debbie Perrigan and Darcie Oubezza. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home (205 E Elm St, Olney, IL 62450). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery (501 S Polk St, Olney, IL 62450). A graveside service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
