With solemn reverence, we commemorate Nancy Rumsey of Olney, Illinois, whose life came to an end on November 13, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Huchel and Mildred Huchel (Robbins); her husband George Rumsey; her sister Sandra "Kate" Lister; and her brother-in-law Carroll Lister.
She is survived by: her children, Michelle Brooks (Russ), Melissa Gamboe (Tom) and Michael "Tug" Murbarger (Michelle Dowty); her stepsons, Michael Rumsey (Teri) and Paul Rumsey; and her grandchildren, Ashli Messina (Daniel), Ian Zumbahlen, Levi Weiler (MaryBeth DeCuyke), Connor Court (Ashley Rapice), Carson Gamboe and Kinsey Armstrong (Jonathan). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials can be made to Oak Hill Cemetery or Carle Richland Memorial Hospital Center of Philanthropy (Carle Hospice).
