She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Fiscus and Iva Fiscus (Lewis); her husband Truman Varner; her brothers, Vern Fiscus and Charles Fiscus; and her son-in-law Pat Armstrong.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Brodersen, Robert Slover (Terry), Deb Reyes, Don Slover, Ruth Armstrong and Harold Varner (Elizabeth); and her niece Sabrina Garris. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorials can be made to American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
