It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Jane (Davis) Scott, Wooden of Olney, Illinois, who passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Davis and Bessie Davis (Smith); her former husband Jack Scott; her spouse Charlie Wooden; her granddaughter Shelley Wilke; and her siblings, Jim Davis and Jo Ann Huffman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Williams (Wayne) of Noble and Beverly Weidner (Harold) of Noble; her grandchildren, Daniel Williams (Tammy), Ami Smithenry (Mark), Jack Weidner (Kerrie) and Emily Patridge (Lucas); her grandson-in-law Ron Wilke; her great grandchildren, Garrett (Gabriella), Gavin Williams, Amanda, Travis Wilke, Devan Coulter, Jared, Levi Weidner and Aubrey Patridge; her great great grandchild Daegon Coulter; her siblings, Margie Wilson, Juanita Schwartzlose, Jerry Davis, Susan Fisher, Ted Davis, Yvonne Winters and Mark Davis; her close friends, Tim and Roberta Bursott; and also, Ashley Ochs, Courtney Meadows and Larry Galloway. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
