He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Butler and Marguerite Butler (Rolli); his grandmother Jean; and his brother Jimmy. He is survived by: his wife Diane Butler (Parker) of Olney; his son Gunnar Butler of Olney; his sister Cassie Denison of Jacksonville, IL; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Parker of Madison, WI, Carol Runyon (Brett) of Johnston City, IL and Brad Parker (Carrie) of Mt. Carmel, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Olney VFW.
