He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar May and B. Alice May (Williams); his wife Darlene June May (Gifford); his daughter Angela Pflaum; his granddaughter Adrianne May; and his siblings, Jack May, Albert "Bud" May, Sheldon "Cork" May and Shirley May.
He is survived by: his children, Deana May Wease of Newton, Darren May (Tracy) of Dundas and Sheri Johnson (Rodney) of Olney; and his son-in-law Johnny Pflaum. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
