He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lloyd Wells and Paquita Wells (Hinote); his children, Joshua Wells (Sabrina), Justin Wells, Kyle Moulton, Hailey Johnson and Blakely Moulton; his siblings, Cheryl Wells, Debra Baker (Danny), Lester Wells (Gina), Gary, Jimmie and Larry Wells (Sue); his aunts and uncles, Dedra, Cammie, Steve, Tom, Larry and Junior; his sister Jeannie; and his father-in-law Michael McClain. He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren.
