It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John F. Eckley of Oquawka, Illinois, born in Monmouth, Illinois, who passed away on April 3, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Barnes and Marcia Anne Fanning Eckley; his wife Peggy Ann Keller; his children, John D. Eckley (Toni), George K. Eckley (Tina), Stephen T. Eckley (Debbie), Robert R. Eckley (Deb) and Patricia Cook (Terry); his grandson Aaron Keller Eckley; and his sister Anne Haynes. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A memorial fund is being established for the Delabar Mississippi River Youth Park and may be sent to his family or left at the service.
