He was predeceased by: his parents, Marlyn Henry and Vriginia Bernice VanDolah (Shoemaker); his children, Michael VanDolah, Kacey VanDolah, Audra Rickey and Gail Reynolds; and his grandchildren, Timothy, Kayla, Talisa and Jerrad.
He is survived by: his sons, William VanDolah of Aledo and Ernest Eugene VanDolah of Oquawka; his siblings, Vern VanDolah of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Linda Peterson (Ron) of Macon, Missouri.; Bud Stanley of Burlington, Iowa. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home (102 10th St, Oquawka, IL 61469). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Turnbull Funeral Homes - Oquawka (102 10th St, Oquawka, IL 61469).
