Nancy Jo Tennant Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Jo Tennant of Oquawka, Illinois, born in Gibson City, Illinois, who passed away on April 2, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Alvin Tennant and Bernice Tennant (McDavid); and her siblings, Patsy Tennant Reinagle and Ronnie Green. She is survived by : her niece Heather Green; and her nephew Ron Reinagle.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 9:00 AM and at 9:30 AM. After her retirement from the State of Illinois in 2012, Nancy went on to build and operate her own business called "Lucky's Bar" which she later sold due to Covid.

A memorial fund is being established for Western Illinois Animal Rescue, Monmouth, Illinois.
