He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Kenneth and Jean Elizabeth Milligan Doran; his brothers, Robert Doran (Virginia) and Stephen Doran; and his in-laws, Austin, Marietta Francis, Leslie, Jeff Roberts, Sarah, Hugh Oriano, Diana Shaw, Howard Sutton, Romane, Lois Tate, Harry Tate, Sara Tate and Mary Ann Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Diana Lynn Tate Doran; his children, Jessica Christine Booton (Ryan) of Stronghurst, Sara Elizabeth Atchison (Jesse) of Anchorage, Alaska and Christopher Thomas Doran (Lori) of Carman, Illinois; his grandchildren, Corinne Christine Booton (Justin Batterton), Colby Vale Booton (Taryn Stephens) and Lily Grace Gadau; his sister Diana Isaacson (Greg); his siblings-in-law, Otho Tate (Pam), Frankie Tate (Eileen), Herb Smith (Jacquelyn), Howard Shaw, Carolyn Sutton and Mae Dell Tate; and his close friend Dianne Lozar. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
