He is survived by: his wife Gloria Bower of Orangeville, IL; his children, Carol Stage of Clinton, IA, Brian Bower of Freeport, IL and Steven Bower (Deana) of South Wayne, WI; his grandchildren, Marcus Bower, Sean Bower, Joshua Bower, David Stage, Noah Bower and Kailie Bower; his foster sons, David Albright (Patti) of Jefferson City, TN, Douglas Mathisen (Sandra) and Craig Mathisen (Serina) of Freeport, IL; his sisters, Judy Browning of Lena and Joy Burkhalter (Larry) of South Wayne, WI; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Bower of Monroe, WI, Glenda Linneman of Freeport, IL and Diane Leverton (Robert) of Lena. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
