She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawson Tjardes and Doris Tjardes; and her spouse Mervin Leon Leathers. She is survived by: her children, Mark Leathers (Sheri) of Mukwonago, WI, Mary Beth Oros (Gaylan) of Oreana, Marcia Pesci of Oreana, Michael Leathers (Jennifer) of Bettendorf, IA and Martin Leathers (Melissa) of Decatur. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Oreana Christian Church or to the American Cancer Society.
