We are sad to announce that on July 10, 2025, at the age of 83, Robert Henry Yingst of Oreana, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Yingst and Mary Yingst; and his siblings, Bill Yingst, Lewis Yingst, John Yingst, Mabel Fancher, Florence Coble, Elsie Robinson, Ethel Simmons, Rosemary Higgs, Deloris Lilly, Roberta Horath, Caroline Lawhorn and Judy Long.

He is survived by: his wife Lydia Yingst of Oreana; his sons, Robert C Yingst (Barbette) of Lexington, KY. and Aaron N. Yingst (Amanda) of Braidwood, IL.; his grandchildren, Beth Hunter (Will), Bridget Owusu (John) and Brylie Jo Yingst; his stepgranddaughters, Hayley and Willa Meyer; and his sisters, Connie Tipsword, Gladys Austin and Elaine Karnes.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Cross Church (3253 N Brush College Rd, Decatur, IL 62526). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Lester Barnett Cemetery (5705 E William Street Rd, Decatur, IL 62521).
