We are sad to announce that, on April 17, 2026, at the age of 76, Bernadette Bird of Oregon, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Bernadette find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her sister Kathleen Gerberi. She is survived by: her son Richard Bird (Hillary); her granddaughters, Eleanor and Amelia; her brother Mark Nagorka (Karen); and her brother-in-law Michael Gerberi (Sue). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
