She is survived by: her children, Susan Lewis (James) of Knoxville, TN, Marvin Cheever Jr. of Mt. Morris, Sally Long (Roger) of Mt. Morris, Jack Cheever (Cindy) of Rosehill, VA, David Cheever of Oldsmar, FL and Eugene Cheever Sr. (Sonia) of Oregon; her siblings, Sharon Peterson of Grand Rapids, MI, Dennis Rae (Jacquie) of Meza, AZ and Denise Mattson (Jerry) of Mt. Morris; and her grandchildren, James Lewis, Heather Murphey (George), Joseph Lewis, Shane Cheever, Marvin Cheever (Amanda), Matthew Cheever, Justin Cheever (Jaclyn), Jackie Cheever, Brandon Cheever, Briana Cheever, Jacob Cheever, Kenny Cheever, Eugene Cheever (Tayla) and Bradly Cheever. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Farrell Holland Gale Funeral Home (110 S 7th St, Oregon, IL 61061). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
