He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert F. Strawser and Marie J. Strawser (Melchert). He is survived by : his close friend Kathy Hoffman of Mt. Morris; his sister Diana Elliott (Lynn) of Oregon; his nieces, Rachelle Swope and Jessica Diehl; and also, Inga Fulton-Stebbins (Jim) of Polo, IL, Shawn Hoffman of Dixon and Tina Hoffman of Mt. Morris.
A memorial fund is established in Doug's name, and memorials may be given to a fund of the donor's choice .
