She was predeceased by: her parents, George Holtapp and Elizabeth Holtapp (Moore); her husband Irving E. Orsted; and her siblings, Mervin, Lowell, Glendon Holtapp and Barbara Engelkas.
She is survived by: her children, Michael "Mike" Orsted (Linda) of Stillwater, MN, Deborah Janssen (Russell) of Oregon, IL and Douglas Orsted (Bea) of Oregon, IL; her grandchildren, Bobbi Young, Tim Smice (Stacy), Liz O'Donnell (Barry), Ingrid Orsted and Amy Orsted; her great grandchildren, Ashley Anderson (Matt), Blake Young, Brooke Young, Corey Stone, Deborah Smice, Emma O'Donnell and Mariah Parker; and her great great grandchildren, Elias, Ryker Anderson and Nova Valdivia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund is established in Joyce's name for the Franklin Grove First Presbyterian Church.
