He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lyons and Ann Lyons (Cosgrove); his sister Joann Marx; his son Brian J. Lyons; and his daughter-in-law Leslie Simcich Lyons.
He is survived by: his wife Palma Patarozzi of Byron; his children, Victoria Petersen (Larry) of Bloomington, IL, Christopher Lyons (Shalene) of Fort Atkinson, WI, Daniel Lyons (Kelly) of Plover, WI, Stephanie Bodine (William) of Sherman, IL and Sean Lyons (Jill) of Edwardsville, IL; his daughter-in-law Lori Lyons (Brian Lyons); his grandchildren, Erin Carter (Jonathan), Emily Lyons, Haley Lyons, Matt Lyons, Cassidy Belz (Matt), Brady Lyons, Brooke Iyer (Vighnesh), Tyler Petersen, Ross Bodine, Reid Bodine, Chase Lyons, Jack Lyons, Maleah Lyons and Landry Lyons; and his great grandchildren, Grace, Beau, Claire and Millie.
