With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Penny O'Rourke (Oregon, Illinois), born in Maquoketa, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 8, 2025 at the age of 75. As we bid Penny farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Penny is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thompson and Doris Thompson (Weasmer). She is survived by: her husband Tim; her sons, Timothy O'Rourke II (Tammie) and Ryan O'Rourke (Ginger) of Oregon; her granddaughter Krystal O'Rourke; her sons, Rebekha (Kyle) and Grey Helen O'Rourke of Oregon; her great grandchild Taliyha; and her siblings, Patricia Haakenson Davenport (Lyle) and John Thompson Riverdale (Dawn).
