We announce the death of Sharon Jean Klein of Oregon, Illinois, who passed away on August 3, 2026, at the age of 88. Sharon will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Anthony and Marian Della Seitz (Weiner); her son Alan Dale Klein; her brother Robert William Seitz; and her brother-in-law Merlin Long.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas "Tom" Giles Klein of Oregon, IL; her children, Kathryn "Kathy" Schafer (Mark) of Dixon, IL, William "Bill" Klein (Sue) of Dixon, IL and Laurel "Lori" Lantz (Stephen "Steve") of Oregon, IL; her grandchild Brenna Rock (Jake); her children, Devin Schafer, David Lantz (Lindsey), Holly Lantz, Brittany Klein, Amber Wells (Todd) and Ciara Magne (Cameron); and her sisters, Myrna Hanes (Robert "Bob") and Nancy Seitz.
