Steven touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. He is survived by: his parents, George Groenhagen and Rozann "Rozie" Groenhagen (Schaefer); his children, Daniel Groenhagen (Morgan), Jonathon Groenhagen and Sarah Groenhagen; his grandchild Brinlee; his wife Kathy Groenhagen; and his siblings, Dawn Fenwick (Steve), Scott Groenhagen (Kayse) and Danette Kirchner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Steve's Shop Contact Funeral Home (110 S 7th St, Oregon, IL 61061).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in his name and may be directed to his family.
