She was predeceased by: her husband Gus; her child Gigi; and her brother George Kontomenas. She is survived by: her children, Chris (Tracee), Penny, Eleni Maurer (Donald), Steve, YiaYia, Dean, Jake (Madelyn), Caley (Dan), Tara, Joe and Christine; and her sibling Keke Rustames (John).
In lieu of flowers, donations to American Heart Association or Cheli's Children Foundation in her name are appreciated.
