We bid farewell to Thomas Fane (Oregon, Illinois), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 25, 2025 at the age of 80. Thomas touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid adieu to Thomas' earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Thomas has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Fane and Louise Fane (Miller); and his brothers-in-law, Henry Kasper and Jack Sitter. He is survived by: his wife Deb Fane of Oregon, IL; his sons, Dennis Fane and David Fane of Toledo, OH; his sisters, Betty Kasper and Barbara Sitter of Dixon, IL; and his uncle Terry Lewis of Rockford, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to one of his favorite charities: Boys Town or St Jude's.
