He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Johnson and Ruby Johnson (Rahn); his granddaughters, Brooke and Britney; his brothers-in-law, Robert Keleher and Ken Heinze; his niece Kelly Strand; and his great-nephew Tony Fuller.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Beck; his children, Brent Johnson (Brenda), Angie Beard (Ed), Orion and Darci Watson (Shawn); his grandchildren, Nathan (Grace) and Sarah (Aaron); his great grandchildren, Michael, Emma and Olivia; and his siblings, Sharon Heinze (Milan) and Kevin Johnson (Annette).

Memorials may be given to the family for a fund to be established.
