It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David James Gordon of Orion, Illinois, born in Dixon, Illinois, who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Gordon and Lois Gordon (Beede); and his brother Ron Gordon. He is survived by : his wife Norma Hartwich (Kunert); his son Ken Gordon (Courtney) of Colona, IL; his grandchildren, Justin Gordon and Halee Gordon; his stepchildren, Karl Hartwich, Joyce Cielecki and Holly Hansen (Heath); his stepgrandsons, Lance Verbeke and Jared Johnson (Makayla); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ariana Verbeke, Zoe Johnson, Kendrick Verbeke and Ambrose Johnson.

Memorials may be made to Rock Island County Animal Care and Control, Moline.
