She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence L. Humphrey and Ruth H. Humphrey (Franzen); her husband Raymond E. Newman; her son Keith; and her sister Janis Moore.

She is survived by: her children, David (Doris Newman), Joel (Bonnie Newman), Stephen (Lisa Newman), Orion and Ann; her son-in-law Jeff Brotherson of Burlington, IA; her grandchildren, Alayna Schottlaender, Brant Newman, Kathleen Kennelly, Elizabeth LeChien, Joel Newman, Jacob Newman, Nick Newman, Rachel Crowell, Jeffrey Lehman and Olivia Lehman; and her brother Daniel Humphrey. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Augustana Lutheran Church, Andover.
