As Andrea departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Andrea may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Andrea leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Kagianas and Betty Kagianas; and her husband James Demeter. She is survived by: her son Alexander Apostolos; and her brother Theodore Kagianas (Maria).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Blake-Lamb Funeral Home (4727 W 103rd St, Oak Lawn, IL 60453). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 10:30 AM at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church (15625 S Bell Rd, Lockport, IL 60491).
