It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony R. Jakubicek (Orland Park, Illinois), who passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Kathleen Bruss (Ernest); his parents, Anton Jakubicek and Rose Jakubicek; and his brother Frank Jakubicek (late Mary). He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his grandchildren, Megan, Melissa, Ernie, Justin, Katie, Amy and Jeffrey; and his great grandchildren, Evelynn, Jackson, Max, Daniel, Emma, Autumn, Julia and Vincent.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home - Orland Park (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 8:45 AM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A Mass will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Michael Church (14327 Highland Ave, Orland Park, IL 60462).
