David S. Cargill Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 24, 2025, at the age of 74, David S. Cargill (Orland Park, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Matthew Cargill; his parents, Richard S. Cargill and Adelaide Cargill; his sibling Dale Cargill; and his brothers-in-law, Robert P. Gelms and William Gelms.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy A. Cargill of Tinley Park, IL.; his daughter Sara Cahill (Stephen); his grandchildren, Alli, Veronica and Hope; and his siblings-in-law, Peggy Gelms, Jeanne Zimmerman (Rick), Kathyrn Lettiere (Stephen) and Julie Gelms. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home - Orland Park (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 9:15 AM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Julie Billiart Church (7399 W 159th St, Tinley Park, IL 60477).
