She was predeceased by: her husband Richard T. Ehret; her parents, Arthur Scharland and Elizabeth Scharland (Andrew Matuska); her stepdaughter Karen Duncan (James); and her brothers, William and John Scharland.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Jackson (Gordon) and Barbara Brosseau (David Rasch); her stepdaughters, Susan Collins and Laura Cripe (Marc); her brother David Scharland (Rita); her grandsons, Steve Jackson (Bernadette), Nicholas Jackson (Brianna) and Matthew Brosseau (Rhen Elyse); and her great grandchildren, Warren Jackson, Olivia Jackson, Mila Jackson, Sophie Rose Jackson, Quill Brosseau and Reinhardt Brosseau.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Interment private at Olive Cemetery, Elkhart, INIn lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 would be appreciated.
