It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eileen A. Hofstra (Orland Park, Illinois), who passed away on November 18, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Edward A. Hofstra; and her siblings, Florence Reitsma (late Leroy) and Fred Brouwer (Paulette). She is survived by: her children, Carol Bult (Albert A.), Joanne Hofstra, Edward J. Hofstra (Sandy) and Diane Hofstra; her grandchildren, Timothy Bult (Selam), Kelly Clark (Reginald), Joshua Bult, Alison McMackin (Jarrett), Lisa Johnson (Jeremy), Melinda Slinkman (Chris) and Edward D. Hofstra; her great grandchildren, Eskinder Bult, Andromeda Bult, Isabelle Clark, Norah Clark, Luna McMackin, Aiden Johnson, Austin Johnson, Andrew Slinkman, Elaina Slinkman and Nora Slinkman; and her siblings, Janet Hofstra (late Richard), George Brouwer Jr., Alyce Sevenberg (late Willard), Charlotte Hofstra (late Robert), Richard Brouwer (Carol), Conrad Brouwer (late Theresa), John Brouwer (Ellen) and Ruth Deenik (Douglas).
