It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor I Ruzic of Orland Park, Illinois, who passed away on April 24, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Eleanor is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Eleanor's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband George S. Ruzic; her daughters, Cynthia Proffitt (James) and Dawn Carr (Robert); her grandchildren, Allison (Jeremy), Ashley and Evan; and her great grandchildren, Parker and Matilda.
