He was predeceased by : his wife Margaret Bayer; his sisters, Betty Bayer and Carol Schultz; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Lou, George Duschene, Betty and Robert Collins.

He is survived by : his sister Evelyn Sotir; his sister-in-law Joyce Borhauer; his nephews, Scott Borhauer (Wendy) and Brent Borhauer (Abby); his niece Aimee Myhre (Jason); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Heather, Zachary, Hailey, Andrew, Mason, Paige, Miles, Ellie, Violet, John and Louis.
