He was predeceased by: his wives, Mary Gustke, Betty White and Doris Davenport; and his sister Helen Wilson. He is survived by: his children, LaDonna Mills (late Russell) and Zenobie Susanne Garrett; his stepchildren, Ann Harmon, Carl Gustke and John Gustke; his grandchildren, Rebekah McKnight (Jonathan), Rachel Rushing (Michael), Reagan Mills and Lindsey Pinones (Isaac); his great grandchildren, Zoey, Zayliegh-Lynn, Zion and Adrian; and his siblings, Pat Patterson, Jerry Garrett, Rita Metcalf and Gary Garrett.
