With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria A. Hayes (Orland Park, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 7, 2025 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her spouses, Lawrence I. Hayes Ret and P. D.; her daughter Therese Jackson (John Jr.); and her parents, Jim Taylor and Margaret Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, James Hayes (Ann), Joseph Hayes (Sherri), Jeffrey Hayes (Michell), Jerome Hayes, Thomas Hayes and Timothy Hayes (Shaun); her grandchildren, Katie (Rick), Jim, Kelly (Keegan), Kasey, Seth, Sheridan, Delaney, Preston, Nikki (Dan), Matt, Alex, John III and Midori; and her great grandchildren, Molly, Jack and Mia.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home - Orland Park (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A Mass was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Damian Church (5250 155th St, Oak Forest, IL 60452).
