He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy M. Schmidt and William J. Fleck; and his close friend Joe Savage. He is survived by: his sister Sandra Jindra (late Tom); his close friends, David Mercier (Jackie) and Mike Keane; and his caregivers, Birute Heossner and Savera Koutas.
