He was predeceased by: his wife Carol A. De Vries; and his siblings, William, Rudolph and Jean. He is survived by: his children, Pamela A. Altgilbers (Dennis Jr.), Beverly A. Nicasio (Heriberto "Ed" Jr.) and Henry A. "Butch" De Vries; his grandchildren, Alexis, D. J., Matthew, Jessica, Noah, Zachary and Aubrey; and his son Excavating.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar Colonial Chapel (15525 73rd Ave, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at the Calendar Chapel (11333 S Central Ave, Oak Lawn, IL 60453).
