Inga K. Kassel Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Inga K. Kassel (Orland Park, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on March 20, 2026, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband John Kassel; her parents, Frank Bidinger and Catherine Bidinger; her siblings, Frank, Ray Bidinger (Lorraine) and Lillian Floody; her grandson Kevin Kassel; and her sister-in-law Jeanne Bidinger.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Kay Henson (Brian) of Bloomington, IL, John Kassel (Rebecca) of New Port Richey, FL, Bill Kassel (Char) and Tim Kassel (Jennifer Norton) of Garner, NC; her grandsons, Sean, David, Michael and Daniel Henson; her children, Evan, Brittany, Victoria, Nicole, Steven, Michelle Kassel and Alex Kassel-Cook; her great grandchildren, Cydney, Ian, Marty, Gemma, Jude, Charlie-Margot Henson and Etta Kassel; and her brother Bill Bidinger. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be a great honor to Inga's memory.
