He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Cornelius Zuidema and Beverly Jane Zuidema; and his children, Judy Brown, William Plikuhn and Thomas Witt.

He is survived by: his grandson Jim; his children, Sandra, Janice, Michael and Jamie; and his grandchildren, Dom Annie Joseph TJ and Ben.
