It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean M. Dering (Orland Park, Illinois), who passed away on May 24, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond P. Dering; and her siblings, Ethel Prince, Harriet Prince, Frances Prince, Ray Prince and Bernice Schoustra (Ted).
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Miles (Tom); her grandson Michael Tomasek (Becky); and her great grandchild Grant.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel (15525 73rd Ave, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Faith Christian Reformed Church, 8383 W. 171st St., Tinley Park, IL 60477 are appreciated.
