He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marla; his children, Christopher Astrauskas (Jennifer), Rachel Smith (Crosbie) and Joseph Astrauskas; his daughter-in-law Krista Grieser; his grandchildren, Natasha, Quentin Astrauskas, Hugh, James Smith and Ben Michalk; his parents, Joseph Astrauskas and Helen Astrauskas; his sister-in-law Susan Darrah (Richard); his sibling's children, Ryan Darrah (Lynn), Kevin Darrah (Jill), Mike (Suzanna) and Amy Cusack (Patrick); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Abigail, Alex, Elyse, Tess, Liam, Lette and Malcolm; and his cousin Dolores Zingler.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the All Saints Lutheran Church (13350 South La Grange Road, Orland Park, IL 60462).
