He is survived by: his wife Gloria Jean Starkey; his daughters, Colleen Yale (Michael) and Cara Starkey; and his siblings, Joseph Kirk Starkey, Mary Kay Capron and Peggy Garrett (Hrupek).
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:15 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael Church (14327 Highland Ave, Orland Park, IL 60462).
