It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaVerne A. Koch of Orland Park, Illinois, who passed away on March 2, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald F. Koch; and her sisters, Joan Ervanian, Ruth Dunlavey and Gloria Virgo. She is survived by: her children, Denise Rabatah (late Khair), Karen Horn (Dan), Jeffrey Koch (Martha), Jerome Koch (Phyllis) and Janice Dwyer (Craig); her grandchildren, Caroline Horn, Catherine McGuire (Matthew), Zach Rabatah (Rina), Norah Duval (Keith), Marie Schoenfeldt (Jake), Kaley Dwyer and Keira Dwyer; her great grandchildren, Gabriel McGuire, Francis McGuire, Michelle McGuire, Kade Duval and Ava Schoenfeldt; and her sister Grace Kraft.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home - Orland Park (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A Mass was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St. Michael Church (14327 Highland Ave, Orland Park, IL 60462).
