She was predeceased by : her son Ronald Sasveld (Suzanne); her brothers, John Alsterda (late Dorothy) and Tom Alsterda (late June); her husband Clyde J. Sasveld; and her close friend Marlene Bulthuis.

She is survived by : her child Glenn Sasveld (Cindi Rees); her grandchildren, Jessica Sasveld (Thomas Carpy), Kelsey Sasveld (Trina), Lucas Sasveld (Kaitlin Ma), Ronald Sasveld (Kirstey), Crista Rees and Cari Zepeda (Jose); and her brothers-in-law, John Sasveld (Patricia) and Allan Sasveld (Marjorie).
