With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Ellison (Orland Park, Illinois), who passed away on June 3, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Michael leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Brittany Kowalis (Chris), Brigette Werr (Bill), Tracy Alfano (Rino Cappelluti) and Tina Allbert (Jason); his grandchildren, Liam and Logan; his siblings, Tom Ellison (Pat), Diane Ellison and Jimmy Ellison; and his friend Carolyn Lindgren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home - Orland Park (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462). A Mass will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Damian Church (5250 155th St, Oak Forest, IL 60452).
