He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Ann Smith; and his parents, Joyce Smith and Peter Smith. He is survived by: his son Peter Smith (Maureen); and his brothers, Steve Smith and Mark Smith (Kimi).
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home - Orland Park (9000 W 151st St, Orland Park, IL 60462).
